This policy explains what RattleWorks LLC collects when you contact us, visit this site, or use our answering service, and what we do with it.

Who we are

RattleWorks LLC is a Texas limited liability company at 419 Johnson Road, Bandera, TX 78003. We operate an AI-assisted phone answering and scheduling service for home-service businesses, a demonstration line called Hill Country Plumbing & Drain, and a sticker retail line called Rattleworks Sticker Co. Purchases from our Etsy shop are handled by Etsy under Etsy's own privacy policy.

What information we collect

• Contact details you give us: name, mobile phone number, email address, and service address.
• Conversation content: the text messages you send us, what you say on calls to our numbers, and any photos you send to describe a problem.
• Call recordings and transcripts: calls to our business numbers may be recorded and transcribed so the request can be handled and reviewed. We tell you at the start of a call when it is being recorded.
• SMS opt-in records: the date, time, and method by which you agreed to receive text messages, and any STOP or HELP replies you send.
• Technical information from this website, such as your browser type, IP address, and general location, collected by our hosting provider in standard server logs.

How we use your information

• To respond to your inquiry, schedule appointments, and confirm bookings.
• To route your request to the right business or person.
• To improve how our automated assistant handles conversations, by reviewing transcripts.
• To send informational or promotional text messages, only if you have agreed to receive them.
• To keep a record of your SMS consent and honor your opt-out requests.
• To meet legal obligations and protect against misuse.

SMS text messaging and your consent

We send SMS text messages only to people who have opted in by calling or texting us, by submitting our opt-in form, or by giving consent during a call. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP; reply HELP for help. Full program details are on our text messaging page.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in status, and text messaging consent are never sold, rented, or shared with any third party. The only parties that handle this information are the messaging carriers and the platform provider that deliver our messages, and they use it solely to deliver those messages on our behalf. Information you provide when opting in to text messages is used only to deliver the messages you asked for.

Who we share information with

We use service providers to run our business: telephone and messaging carriers that deliver calls and texts, a customer relationship platform that stores conversations and appointments, hosting providers for this website, and AI processing providers that help our automated assistant understand and respond to messages. These providers process your information only to provide their service to us and are not permitted to use it for their own marketing. When our answering service is operated for a client business, the details of your inquiry are shared with that business so it can serve you.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it or to protect the rights, property, or safety of RattleWorks LLC, our clients, or others.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not set cookies of its own and does not use advertising or analytics trackers. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may set a strictly necessary cookie for security and records standard server logs to operate and protect the site. The embedded SMS opt-in form is provided by our customer relationship platform, which may set a functional cookie so the form works; it is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.

How long we keep it

We keep conversation records for as long as needed to handle the request and for a reasonable period afterward for quality review and record keeping, typically no more than two years. We keep records of your SMS consent and opt-out for as long as required to demonstrate compliance. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your rights and choices

• Unsubscribe: reply STOP to any text to stop receiving messages. You will get one confirmation and nothing further.
• Access, update, or delete: email cyress@rattleworks.co to ask what information we hold about you, to correct or update it, or to have it deleted.
• Talk to a person: ask to speak with a person at any time during a call or text conversation.

Children

Our services are for adults and businesses. You must be 18 or older to opt in to our text messaging program. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Data security

We protect your information with access controls, encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) to this website and to our service providers, and by limiting access to the people and systems that need it. We use reputable providers that maintain their own security programs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
